33 y.o. Triathlete – Shepparton 70.3 Ironman 2012
Hi Steph! U have no idea how happy I am! My nutrition plan could not have gone better. It’s the first time EVER I felt 100% the whole race. I left out the bcaa’s as u suggested, I didn’t overhydrate, I got all carbs in according to schedule on the bike, I only used 2 gels on the run – 1 at 20 mins and 1 at the one hr mark and it was sooo perfect! I had one more in hand just in case but didn’t need it at all. I did the carb load exactly according to the plan too. I remember the carb loading before cairns made me feel so bloated and heavy but I didn’t have that at all. Was eating awesome food on sat 🙂 🙂
Thank u so much for ur help so far. I beat my run time by about 25 mins from last year. And i think my bike split was top 7 female and 5 of those girls were pro’s!! I just felt really light and not queasy at all from the start of the run til the end. No stomach issues at all!!
